ReformTech receives 4.8 million SEK grant from FFI
Stockholm, Sweden, July 4th, 2011 – ReformTech Sweden AB today received a grant of 4.8 million SEK grant from FFI to develop environmentally friendly catalytic heaters that provides significantly lower amounts of nitrogen oxides, particulates and carbon monoxide while increasing efficiency and emissions of carbon dioxide.
The grant is for a joint R&D-project to develop an environmental friendly catalytic heater for compartment heating, engine pre-heating and battery pre-heating in trucks and passenger cars. The project is conducted in close cooperation with Scania, Volvo Car Corporation, Saab Automobile and the Royal Institute of Technology.
- It is very gratifying to get the grant from FFI and the close cooperation with Scania, Volvo Car Corporation, Saab Automobile and the Royal Institute of Technology. The grant will help us to further expand and customize our technology platform together with some key Customers. It will also enable us to recruit more personnel and to increase the rate of our expansion. The worldwide market interest for our technology and products is rapidly increasing and the grant help us to actively participate in the on-going industry shift towards more environmental friendly energy- and propulsion systems, says Daniel Hagström, CEO ReformTech.
The heater's catalytic combustion yields significantly lower emissions (nitrogen oxides, particulates and carbon monoxide) while increasing efficiency and emissions of carbon dioxide, and is compatible with CO2-neutral fuels (bio-diesel, ethanol, methanol etc.). The project will develop and test a heater to fulfill customer demands for the vehicle market, and establishes strategically important cooperation to customers, production partners & aftermarket partners.

About FFI
FFI is a partnership between the Swedish government and automotive industry for joint funding of research, innovation and development concentrating on Climate & Environment and Safety. Initially set to run from 2009-2012 with no definite ending year. FFI has R&D activities worth approx. €100 million per year, of which half is governmental funding. The background to the investment is that development within road transportation and Swedish automotive industry has big impact for growth.
FFI will contribute to the following main goals: Reducing the environmental impact of transport, Reducing the number killed and injured in traffic and Strengthening international competitiveness.

ReformTech gets 2,8 million SEK grant from VINNOVA
Stockholm, Sweden, December 1st, 2010 – ReformTech Sweden AB today announced a grant of 2,8 million SEK from VINNOVA, a part of the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications of Sweden.
The grant is for a R&D-project to develop a 2-6kW environmental friendly catalytic heater for houses, small work-places, passenger car compartment heating and battery pre-heating. The project is conducted in close cooperation with Saab, KTH, and an industrial partner in China (ACTech/GreenTech) with strong connections to the vehicle industry as well as efforts to enable sustainable city developments.

VINNOVA is the Swedish innovation agency and our goal is to increase the competitiveness of researchers and companies in Sweden. VINNOVA funds through the “Forska & Väx” program research and development projects in small and medium-sized businesses. The program is on a total of 120 million SEK per year. BioART AB invests USD 2 millions in ReformTech Sweden AB
Stockholm, Sweden, July 6, 2010 – ReformTech Sweden AB today announced that the investment firm BioART is investing USD 2 millions in ReformTech Sweden AB – a worldwide leader in developing clean heating, reformer system and exhaust treatment products, including subsystems, based on a proprietary catalytic fuel processing and reactor technology.
